Soma Intimates, Exposed.

So, I'm sitting here on my very last night of being in my 20's, reflecting on everything that I've learned and every obstacle that I have overcome thus far. As I'm thinking of it all, there is one thing that I have come to learn that I would like to pass along to you, mine and Amanda's valued followers; it's the value of a great undergarment. We are firm believers that it doesn't cost a great deal of money to look great and stylish, however, there are certain things that you just cannot skimp on, and a great bra is one thing that comes to mind.

You see, as I've grown older, my size has changed, more recently in the past year. I had a health scare last summer and was put through a boatload of tests and with that, my doctors were experimenting with some nasty steroids which were thought to make me better. The fact of the matter is that with all the stress that the situation brought, and my body going on and coming off of some heavy duty medications, my body ended up growing, and with that, my chest ended up not fitting into my bras.

I am naturally busty, and it's something that I have had to learn how to dress accordingly. I cannot go without a bra, and certain bra styles work better than others. I have gone to Victoria's Secret for over a decade because they had a couple specific styles that fit me perfectly, but with my recent body change, I couldn't fit into their limited size range. My mother kept on telling me about Soma bras, mainly because of their television commercials. I did a little research and found out that a Soma store opened up at the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga. On a whim, I took a trip there and wanted to see what they had, especially since I knew my size had changed and was curious to see if they could accommodate me.

I approached the store and was pleasantly surprised to see an upscale set up, and very friendly and outgoing sales associates. If there is one thing that bothers me about shopping, and believe me, I am a girl that cannot be deterred by much when I'm going clothes shopping, it's the lack of interest the sales associates seem to have for their job. Most don't even acknowledge that you're there, let alone offer to help. I was greeted straight away and asked if I had ever shopped with them and what I was interested in looking at. Once I explained that I needed to be remeasured for a bra, I was taken back to a beautiful fitting room area where I was measured (and shocked by my new size!) and immediately brought a couple styles to try. After trying on 5 styles, I found the one for me. Soma literally has everything you could ask for, and coming from a girl that has had a large chest, their bras are pretty and stylish. It wasn't a cheap trip for a bra, but I got 15% off and a free pair of panties since they were running a grand opening promotion. I ended up spending $49.84 and got a coupon for $10 off my next purchase. A great bra can not only uplift your chest, but your confidence. Take some time and some money for yourself and find yourself the right bra. Go to a specialty store, get measured, and make sure you try everything on. You may not have known that you were wearing the wrong size, and you may not have known the power of a great bra. A bra is something that you are going to be wearing 7 days a week and for the vast majority of each day. You need to feel comfortable and confident with your choice, and Soma is my new choice. I highly recommend you do what I did and take a look.
